Relationships are an integral part of good photographs. The relationship between those being photographed and the relationship they have with their photographer are all key elements in creating great images. While I try to establish a relationship with every person I find myself putting a camera in front of, be it a couple on their wedding day or a person who is sharing their life story with me, sometimes the relationship develops long before a camera ever comes into play.
Aleks is the other half of Calla Evans Photography and if you’ve ever seen us at a wedding you know that I would be lost without her. I’ve been lucky enough to know her and her fiancé for a few years now and count them as part of my Toronto family. I’m so excited for their wedding on December 16, I’ve never met a couple so well suited to each other. I hope you enjoy some of these pre-wedding shots we did earlier last month in Sherwood Park with their cute pup Addie.
